Clinton is not going quietly under Obama’s bus

It looks like Hillary is properly accepting responsibility for the State Department’s refusal to provide adequate security to our ambassador in Libya.

But she’s definitely not falling on her sword over that stupid YouTube baloney.

There’s important evidence to support Hillary’s position.

1. State Department officials testified before Congress that they had been monitoring the situation in Libya and had seen no protests against the film.

2. U.S. ambassadors (like Susan Rice) are appointed by and operate under the jurisdiction of the White House. Rice could not have made the rounds of every Sunday morning news show blatting that the YouTube video had motivated the attacks without having received specific direction to do so from the White House.

And while we’re on the subject of Lies vs Intel …

Ten to One is UNFAIR!

Please explain to me [2:33]

Labor Force: All people aged 16 and over who are either employed or actively seeking work. It does not include discouraged workers, people who have retired, or those on welfare or disability who are no longer looking for work. Since January 2009, this number has grown by 827,000 people or 0.54% (from 154,236,000 to 155,063,000)

Not in Labor Force: Total civilian non-institutional population minus the number in Labor Force. Since January 2009, this has grown by 8,208,000 people or 10.2% (from 80,502,000 to 88,710,000 people).

2009 Stimulus Spending – Waste and Fraud

The first thing the All Democrat Obama Leadership did was BORROW $840 Billion to “stimulate” the economy and “help create jobs.”

We’ve seen how well that worked!

Now, we learn some of that high-cost, low-return money was pissed away on waste and fraud.

To date, government inspector generals have secured 598 judgments against people and companies who misused $11.1 Million in stimulus funds.

There are 1,900 more investigations still open!

A senior official says they expect that $11.1 Million figure to balloon in coming months.

For example, one of the cases nearing conclusion is by an Energy Department inspector general who discovered the California energy commission collected the same $678,000 twice. Oooops.

In 400 other cases, investigators found the companies claiming stimulus funds didn’t exist. Apparently nobody checked, just sent the money.

Color me cynical, but I have to wonder how many of the recipients were Democrat donors.

Feds have more than 1,900 investigations open into alleged stimulus wrongdoing

Chapter 1: Man’s Capacity for God

I signed up for an email service that sends a piece of the Catholic Catechism each day. Today’s is the end and summary of Chapter 1. For the Catholics and non-Catholics, I thought it might be of interest.

Chapter 1: Man’s Capacity for God (27 – 49)

44 Man is by nature and vocation a religious being. Coming from God, going toward God, man lives a fully human life only if he freely lives by his bond with God.

45 Man is made to live in communion with God in whom he finds happiness: When I am completely united to you, there will be no more sorrow or trials; entirely full of you, my life will be complete (St. Augustine, Conf. 10, 28, 39: PL 32, 795).

46 When he listens to the message of creation and to the voice of conscience, man can arrive at certainty about the existence of God, the cause and the end of everything.

47 The Church teaches that the one true God, our Creator and Lord, can be known with certainty from his works, by the natural light of human reason (cf. Vatican Council I, can. 2 § 1: DS 3026),

48 We really can name God, starting from the manifold perfections of his creatures, which are likenesses of the infinitely perfect God, even if our limited language cannot exhaust the mystery.

49 Without the Creator, the creature vanishes (GS 36). This is the reason why believers know that the love of Christ urges them to bring the light of the living God to those who do not know him or who reject him.

much has been made about what each candidate must do to ‘win’ tonights debate. The press has gratuitously offerd their hero tips on how to hammer Romney on the 47% thing,Bain Capital, tax cuts for the rich, etc.Romney cannot sink to obama’s level by going on about ‘bitter clingers’,’you didn’t build that’ and myriad other outrageous comments made by the boy-king during his reign of terror. The questions from the audience have been submitted beforehand and Candy Crowley, whose Indian name is ;walks- and- talks- like- a- man’ will decide which ones will be asked.

Libya is sure to come up,and she will doubtless allow him to pass the blame to Cankles, whose already volunteered to fall on her penknife. Its a goos bet the ‘war on women’ will also come up,since liberals are convinced all women care about is contraception and abortion.I still think this is a loser,as evidenced by Romney’s gains with women.Still,I am hopeful Romney, being a smart businessman will be well-prepared to answer whatever they try to ambush him with, since this is not his first rodeo.Obama,OTOH,has never been challenged since he ascended the throne and is averse to any kind of meaningful resistance.

Somehow,I can’t see this debate being any kind of game-changer since Romney would have to be really, really bad to make people change their minds about the devastation Barry has wrought. You just don’t forget those kinds of thimgs

Added by CtH, since Pete mentioned rodeos 🙂
