SATURDAY AT PETE’S PIX

Posted by Pistol Pete

Decided to post a few videos, otherwise by Monday I’ve got more youtubes than a black woman has free cell phones.

A lot of you come here to read my comments. I assure you, nothing is planned in advance. I just write whatever pops in to what’s left of my brain.

Biden lied. Bishops cried FOUL.

THE ACTUAL FACTS:

  • The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain “religious employers.”
  • That exemption does NOT extend to “Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital,” or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.
  • The HHS “accommodation” for “non-exempt” religious organizations like these does not even potentially relieve these organizations from the obligation “to pay for contraception” and “to be a vehicle to get contraception.”

People died. Biden lied.

Obama’s deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter: Benghazi is only an issue ‘because of Romney and Ryan’ [:32]  In the real world, an armed, murderous assault on an embassy is an act of war. In the real world, the YouTube lies the Obama administration foisted on us for NINE DAYS are a very serious matter. But in Obama-land, it’s all just no biggy. In this clip, Cutter says Romney and Ryan are big fat jerks for “politicizing” the whole thing. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

THE SATURDAY GRUDGE

Posted by Pistol Pete

Kind of a gray, chilly, windy day here in northen Illinois.Plans for today include stoking up the fireplace and ‘kicking it’,as my grandkids call it.

From CtH:

There’s a great FOX News report about the ride embedded on this page [10:27]

Check out Melissa Stockwell’s page. She’s a 2x World Champion ParaTriathlete!

If anybody gives you grief about being “disrespectful” toward their messiah, show them the piece of left-wing trash I found at the Daily Kos. Can you believe anyone actually DISSED George W. Bush (who they call “The Chimp”) for hosting special events for Wounded Warriors? They even managed, in the same short space, to DISS anyone and everyone who has ever worn the uniform. These people make me sick.

The Chimpster [brags about] sponsoring a golf tournament for Vets. How thoughtful. And why not?  Most of them have fairly flexible schedules nowadays (unemployed).
Except for the few lucky troops who found time to practice at the driving range when not dodging IEDs, I imagine most have never stepped onto a golf course, other than to pick up trash, turn on the sprinklers or to find a quiet spot to spend the night?

Chris Wallace: “I’ve never seen a debate where one candidate was so disrespectful” [:58]

Brit Hume and Greta Van Susteren: “Rude” [1:32]

Crazy Old Joe [:56]

Biden: “Laughing at the Issues” [1:10]

Obama: “Biden was terrific. I could not be prouder of him.” [:58]

Oct 13 Prayer for Our Nation

Give ear to my words, O Lord,
Consider my meditation.
Give heed to the voice of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to You I will pray.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
Psalm 5:1-3

We beg You, O Lord, to hear our supplications. Do not let our words fall on deaf ears. Let us come to You each morning with hearts full of joy, for You are our Most High God, and everything we have comes from You. Bless us that we might bless others. Let us always look to You for every provision. Let us each be an open vessel filled with Your wisdom, that others might know Your saving grace. Amen.

P.S., Thank you for blessing me with 33 years of marriage to my best friend. Amen again.
