That article is pretty biased. No mention of skewed polls, just that Obama is leading in most polls. And the excuse for more GOP than Dem PAC spending is “they’re keeping their powder dry for October”, not “they’re sick of Teh Won and putting their money into House and Senate races.

I’d add “Straight line party voters and” to the beginning of this. The 25% or so that still responds with Strong Approval for Obama aren’t going to listen or change. Don’t waste time on them.
We need to focus our energies on encouraging our peers, LISTENING and answering the real concerns of undecideds and moderates, and PRAYING.

Only an administrator can put an image into a comment — sorry! I wish there were some way to make it possible for commenters to do it.
When I find an image linked in a comment, I often copy the image and insert it, if it isn’t too large to fit. WordPress has a thingy (sorry for not knowing the correct lingo) on the edit page that supposedly allows you to reduce the size of a file, but it works only very sporadically. When it doesn’t work, my only other option is to shrink the image down on my screen, take a screen shot, and then start over. This can be sort of time-consuming, so I often give up before getting that far.

Anti-spam rules are like front door locks. We wish we lived in a community where we never had to use ’em. In the small towns of the multitude of blogs, you need less because you’re more likely to have a wandering hobo than a genuine invader. But in the populous high-traffic blogs, lots of guards are needed. (I had more, but the metaphor was already showing failing life signs from the beating.)

If you get inspired (or glassy-eyed bored), I’d love something like this that flips between Jimi singing “Hey Joe” and Barry singing “I’m so in love with you”. The recording I posed has all of the Hey Joe song, which lyrics were so offensive, I turned it off after half a minute. I just want to make the point about how similar their voices are in something short like this.

I had actually thought to mix those vids (Jimi/Barry — I may be unpersueded by the theory, but it’s a hoot, and, of course, as good a guess as any). Hold not breath, as my way of getting to such things is kind-of random.
I want to do some quick short vids of the Pres, VP, Pelosi, DWS, and others’ stupidest statements, each followed by… well, if I get it done, you’ll see. The field is so fertile! Suggestions for stupidest remark to start with welcomed.
Looking at the last 30 days, I see my goofy “Great American Song” video has had two views each in Germany, France, and Saudi Arabia, and once each in the Czech Republic, Australia, Egypt, Italy, and Poland. What do you figure those folks were searching for, to come upon my vid? What do you suppose they expected when they ran it? OTOH, one websurfer in Taiwan watched the shorter, funnier “Obama’s Gay Marriage Flip-Flops” video. Speaks to the cultural differences, I might imagine. 😀
