        Yep, I was at the first tea party, on a cold day in Chicago when a new movement was born. I remember people milling around, saying funny things like, what do we do now. We had no idea how to protest! LOL. But because of this rant the sleeping giant awakened. I know the Ron Paul people say he started it, but most of us never heard of Ron Paul, or were motivated by him. But Santelli was the spark for the fire.
        Ironic that he and Obama, both came from the same place geographically, but were miles about philosophically.

    Hi, PoliNationals. I lurk therefore I’m not. I’m still on low bandwidth + other technical barriers. But I’ve been saving up the video links and downloading when I can get near broadband. Wouldn’t want to miss a single one of the responses to “You didn’t build that.” Nice they keep handing Romney plums, and that one was golden.

    HEY! I sold a bunch of “Romney The Mormon not the moron” bumper stickers from the Mindful Webworks CafePress store in May and June, and only found out today. I don’t want to brag and make poor people feel bad, but I made almost $20! 🙂 So, I can no longer say I’ve never made a penny off my website. Okay, it’s technically not off my website. In fact it wasn’t even my idea, I just swiped it and put it on a product. Also, total spillover to other products: Zero, including none of the other okay-it’s-Romney bumper stickers. Wonder how it happened. Anyway, I think I’m not quite able to claim to be a Pro yet. Not ready to buy that yacht. 😀

    Now, time to go home and back to lurk mode.

      Kudos, Mindful! I’ve sold (to someone other than me! LOL) exactly one mug at my Zazzle store. I think my profit was a dollar something. But they don’t pay out until it’s $25 so I’ll prob’ly never see it. I did sell a necklace and a Sniff It! locally this month though, so that’s cool. Got actual CASH on my desk. Ooh Ahh. I think I’d best tuck it a way for the next “Dearest has an empty gas tank” crisis. 🙂

    Tomorrow is Chick Fil A Day. I have not had any fast food in almost 5 years now, but tomorrow I am going to stand in line and find something really unhealthy to eat. That is my sacrifice for the cause of free speech!
