The guy (I won’t call him a man) is obviously an amoral idiot, and as such probably can’t be held accountable for his actions. I blame the women for being stupid enough to have sex with him, and our family-destroying welfare system for enabling them all to be so extravagantly irresponsible at taxpayer expense.
To be honest with you (and this will probably make me some enemies), I don’t think men who father children out of wedlock should be required by law to pay child support. If a woman wants a man to support her and their children, then she should refrain from having sex with him unless and until he marries her. Once they’re married, then he is obligated, legally and morally, to support their children. Likewise, I don’t think unmarried men should have any rights to children they father out of wedlock. If a man wishes to be involved in his children’s lives, then he should marry the mother before impregnating her.
The fact that we treat unmarried parents exactly the way we treat married ones in this society — in effect pretending that there’s no difference — is one big reason we have such high levels of illegitimacy.

It’s not gonna be easy, that’s for damn sure.
I decided I need to pray more … so whenever I see an Obama bumper sticker or sign, or anything of that nature, I pray for the person who put it up — that he or she will be mugged by reality (as I was, back when I was a liberal). I’m sure it would annoy the bejesus out of them if they knew some right wing nut was praying fervently for them to be disillusioned (i.e., disabused of their illusions), but that only makes it more fun. 🙂

I pity you both. Wisconsin has one good senator (Ron Johnson) and one lousy one (Herb Kohl), but the lousy one is retiring, so if we’re lucky a good guy will take his place. The four guys who are running for the Republican nomination were at the Wisconsin Right to Life convention last month, so I got to hear them speak and I liked all of them. Mark Neumann is my first choice, but any one of them would be a HUGE improvement over Kohl.

Chen Guangcheng Leaves China on Flight for United States
After a second Congressional hearing, during which he called to update members of Congress on the current status of his tenuous situation in China, forced abortion opponent Chen Guangcheng has finally been granted his visa request to leave China for the United States.
Chen had languished in a Chinese hospital since American officials reportedly agreed to a deal with Chinese leaders to allow Chen to come to the United States to study and escape the nation that imprisoned him and forced him to endure house arrest for years because he exposed and helped the victims of a massive forced abortion and sterilization campaign in his hometown of Linyi.
Chen eventually received passport applications for himself and his family and has been told that local officials in Shandong province will get him the necessary papers to leave the country. Now, that has happened.
Chen documented 7,000 such forced abortion cases, taking down the names and addresses of those women who were victimized, as well as the particulars of the officials who committed these crimes. That is why the Chinese Communist Party is so eager to silence Chen. Not only has he exposed their crimes against the Chinese people, he has at least the potential to generate massive protests against the brutal one-child policy.
