Sheriff Joe rides again

Today’s headlines include one saying Arizona’s governor does not agree with Sheriff Joe.

What she actually says is quite different. For example, she notes that, unlike the sheriff, she has not done extensive research into the matter. She also said that, when she spoke to the Hawaiian governor several years ago, he assured her that Obama was born in Hawaii.

I happen to think he was born in Hawaii as well.

This has nothing to do with what Sheriff Joe and his Cold Case Posse have concluded, which is that there is probable cause the birth certificate Obama reluctantly released only after tremendous political pressure is a forgery.

If I forged a New York birth certificate for myself, it would not mean I had not been born in New York. (I was.) It would just mean I was guilty of a FELONY.

I’m 99% certain that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii AND that both his father’s identity and his birth date are fake.

If I’m right, he is both eligible to be POTUS and also to put on an orange jumpsuit and do time behind bars.

Lots to do today;grab your coffee and lets get started.

Rahm, old buddy, you just got screwed.Hope he bought you dinner first.
Why did barry do this? The G-8 is an economic summit.Could it be he didn’t want everybody to see what an economic lightweight he really is?He’s never had a summit or even hosted a head of state at Camp David.Maybe I’m just a cynical old goat, but I think he wants it kept hidden so he can control the news that comes out of it.But that’s just me.

Are you a Democrat, a Republican or a Southerner?

Here  is a little test that will help you decide.

You’re walking down a deserted street with your wife and children. Suddenly, a man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges at you. You are carrying a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

If you answered, “Well, that’s not enough information to answer the question … do I have a phone to call 911? What is a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP? Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What does the law say about this situation?  Is this gun registered? Why am I an expert shot? I hate guns. What kind of message does carrying a loaded gun send to my children? Is it possible this man would be happy with just killing me? Maybe he would be content to just wound me. If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? Why is this street so deserted? Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior? We need to raise taxes, have a paint & weed day. I can’t answer this question right now. I need to talk it over with my friends and try to come to a consensus…”, then you are a Democrat.

If you answered, “BANG!”, then you are a Republican.

If you answered, “BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! click reload BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!”, then you are a Southerner. And if your family said things like, “Nice grouping” or “Can I shoot the next one?”, then they are Southerners too and you should all go out and get yourself some fried food with lots of bar-b-que sauce on it to celebrate.

Occupy Astroturf

Michael Trumka, the president of the AFL-CIO, told a reporter “WE did not pay people to picket.”  It’s a classic dodge to answer dishonestly, while telling the truth. If by “WE” he meant the NATIONAL AFL-CIO’s money, there is still lots of wiggle room for local unions to be using funds to  astroturf at protests.

The CPAC protester who told a reporter he was being paid to be there also said he was from Local 100. The web site where the Occupy CPAC events were advertised was the Washington DC Metro Council of the AFL-CIO. Neither one is the big honkin’ national AFL-CIO that dear Michael could be thinking of when he says WE didn’t pay protesters.

Another reason not to believe Trumka?  He claimed the unions can’t afford to pay protesters.  Riiiight. The AFL-CIO spent more than $50 million to support Democrats in the 2010 elections! Of course they have money to pay protesters.

Anyway, this isn’t the first time I’ve heard people say they were paid by their union to show up at a political rally or protest. According to one source, they’ve been doing it for decades.
