Just took a peek at the stats … interesting that the CFL bulbs blog from way back is still getting hits. I’m thinking the Left really screwed themselves over on that one (pun intended). Sheeple may not be willing to tune into or able to understand federal budget gobbledygook, but we fershure understand the feds banning a product we’ve been using since our grandparents were children and forcing us to switch to something that is an immediate threat to our families’ safety.

When I was a kid,I had 2 cousins who lived in an upstairs apartment in town.One Easter their other grandmother gave them little yellow ducklings.Of course,they had to bring them to the farm to grow up with our chickens,ducks and geese.For over a year,they’d play with their pets when they came to Sunday dinner.One fateful Sunday,Scott told his sister he was going to play with the ducks when he finished eating.Without looking up from her plate,my grandma said he couldn’t play with the ducks today,because they were eating them.A wave of pain came over their faces and they wailed uncontrollably.
It was a hard life lesson to learn at 10 years old that things must be sacrificed for the circle of life to continue.As he got older,Scott began to use drugs heavily and last I heard he was homeless.I doubt being traumatized at a young age had anything to do with it,but you never know.

I really dislike Karl Rove. I think he is responsible for a lot of the mess we are in. I never have quite gotten on the Cain bandwagon, though. I find him likable and accomplished, but I’m not confident in his ability to govern. I wish that there was a candidate that I felt like I could really support, instead of just holding my nose in the voting booth. I blame this on Karl Rove, too, but I can’t really tell you why. It is just a gut feeling, but I have learned to always trust these kinds of reactions, as they are rarely wrong.
