I’m nervous for Cain in the debate tonight. Cain was for TARP – I don’t really see how that meshes well with Palin supporters. He’s still my favorite so far, but the TARP support is one of my few hang ups with him.

I wish that I could be enthusiastic about any of those candidates up on that stage tonight. Right now the only thing I really care about is stopping Romney. After that I will have to figure it out. But for now, I am all about “NO ROMNEY!”

Last week was a bummer, wasn’t it? I almost, ALMOST shed a tear when I heard. I was definitely emotional though.

Yes, it was a bummer. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, so I am not completely reconciled to the idea yet.

          • Cain is my favorite for many reasons, chief among them the fact that if he were to be the nominee, he would annihilate Obama in debate. Cain is intelligent, articulate, and extremely well-spoken — all the things Obama is not (the claims of his admirers to the contrary notwithstanding) — and Herman never hems and haws, never stammers, never commits any of the blunders that pockmark Obama’s rhetorical style. It would be pure pleasure watching the two of them face off in a debate; Cain would win on both style AND substance.

These seem to be the choices we are faced with:

1.Romney-I could care less what religion he is,he’s an East Coast liberal republican and hand-picked by the GOP establishment and the media for a reason.

2.Cain:I love the guy.He will be pounded for never having held office,no foreign policy cred and the 9% sales tax in his 9-9-9 plan is offputting. He may get a few more black votes than McStain, but the entitlement mentality has been so ingrained in the parasite class he’s not considered ‘genuinely black.’

3.Perry:started out fast and has stumbled.I could vote for him(I’d vote for a ball of pus over Obama),but the media is trying to rush the vetting process.
Obama has more than a billion dollars waiting to attack whoever our nominee is.He won’t waste money on positive ads because he doesn’t have anything positive to show. The palace guards in the media will give him millions in positive stories while acting as his personal attack dogs.
It is critical that we rid the country of the deadly virus it is now infected with.Damn shame it looks like we may end up settling as we have for so very long.

I’d vote for any of them in the general! I agree overall with your assessment. Call me crazy, but for me it’s Cain, Romney and then Perry in that order. I….just…don’t….know…If I can handle Perry. Am I a statist because I don’t want another Texan in the office for awhile?

Cain is going to have to really start to teach the public about his 9-9-9 plan. He got the plan out there, now it’s time to sell it. I think he can break it down in a way that people will be able to understand it and maybe even embrace it. Maybe. 😀

Yep! He tickles me because he is really unbelievable (to me) in these “roles” he plays for his stings and you almost wonder if the people are just playing along because they don’t know whether he is a crazy person or not. I mean, he is so over the top in his “acting” that if he were to engage me randomly I would probably agree with everything he said and be looking for the quickest way to disengage and get away.
