I’m trying to organize, back up and clean off my hard drive in anticipation of getting my new computer. I just processed these pics Dearest took out in our yard in June. They’re out of season, but they were so nice, I want to share anyway.

The peonies were my dad’s. I transplanted them to my garden in memory of him.
I’m thinking this last one would be a good candidate for our PoliNators border imagery, but maybe the bee is too small?

There will be NO “big picture” pictures of our little patch of God’s Green Earth. IMHO, a garden is like a dance; it doesn’t really exist except when someone is doing it. Sadly, it’s been a long time since anyone around here had time or energy for more than mowing the grass and shoveling the snow. IOW, my gardens look like crap and I’m ashamed of them! Sigh.
This is why I no longer believe in bipartisanship. The current Democratic leadership is made up of hypocrites and bullies. They say they want everyone to play by the same rules and be civil to one another. Then they stab us in the back.
IT WAS NOT UNTIL THIS WEEK I REALIZED YOU HAD KIDS SERVING OVERSEAS. I AM,ALWAYS HAVE BEEN,ALWAYS WILL BE IN AWE OF THOSE WHO LOVE THEIR GOD,COUNTRY AND FAMILY SO DEEPLY THEY VOLUNTEER TO GO INTO HARM’S WAY TO DEFEND WHAT THEY HOLD DEAR. WHEN I READ ABOUT OUR BRIGHTEST AND BEST THAT FELL TODAY MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS OF YOUR FAMILY. MILITARY FAMILIES KNOW ALL ABOUT ‘SHARED SACRIFICE.’ THEY LIVE IT EVERY DAY.
IF ANYBODY HAPPENS BY,FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THOSE AMONG US WHO SERVE AT HOME. YOU ARE VERY SPECIAL TO ME, CHRISSY. KNOW THAT YOUR FAMILY ARE ALWAYS IN MY PRAYERS.
I mean that “go away” in the nicest possible terms – not physically harmed in any way, just voted out of office. What he could do with another 4 years haunts my nightmares. But what he would mean to this country as a martyred Camelot hero curdles my blood.
“Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
